UDC Technical Assistance Grants have the following criteria:• Applicants will have a ten (10)-month period to complete their projects and request payment, with no time extensions allowed, so that all projects are finished within the 2012 fiscal year. The deadline for municipalities to complete their projects and submit their documentation for reimbursement will be July 24, 2012. Again, NO EXTENSIONS WILL BE GRANTED! • For 2012, a Mid-Term Progress Report will be due by February 29, 2012. • For 2009, grant terms are for one year. Quarterly reports are required: DUE DATES: Dec. 31 – March 31 – June 30 – September 30. Upon evaluation of work progress, a maximum of two 6-month extensions may be allowed. • The UDC member town or township (or its respective county) must be the applicant submitting the application, even if a partnering subcontractor will actually perform the tasks. • Funding is not available for “bricks and mortar” capital improvement construction projects. • All projects must be related to the implementation of the River Management Plan. • The member town or township must enter into a contract with the UDC as grant administrator. • Payments of grant funds will be disbursed only after the completion of the work as specified in each individual grant contract and approved by the Project Review Committee. A Project Completion Form must be included.
