UDC Raft Trip Set for Aug. 1st
NARROWSBURG – Save the date of Sunday, August 1, for the 22nd Annual Family Raft Trip sponsored by the Upper Delaware Council, Inc. (UDC).
Participants will paddle on the Upper Delaware Scenic and Recreational River between Skinner’s Falls and the Ten Mile River Landing. This 10-mile trip includes two sections of whitewater rapids. Lander’s River Trips will provide the rafts, paddles, life jackets, a safety briefing, and an afternoon shuttle back to the Skinner’s Falls parking lot, where rafters will rendezvous and launch between 9-10 a.m.
Minimum occupancy per raft is four people. Children must weigh at least 40 lbs. and be five years old. The UDC’s deeply-discounted rates are $22 for ages 13 and up, and $12 for ages 5-12. Advance reservations will be required by July 23.
